I often buy 3 liters for 11€ here in the Netherlands, its complete garbage, gives you a hell of a headache and eventually makes you vomit because it’s so awful tasting. 3/10 would buy again

We just got back from Japan. One of my friends went into a convenience store and bought what he thought was a 3 liter of water. Went to drink some of it later.. wasn’t water lol… some sort of liquor. He said it wasn’t that expensive so he just assumed it was water.

Hey dude that’s what we use for making Calimocho here. 1:1 ratio of wine with cola. Plus 1 tablespoon of sugar for each litre of wine if the cola isn’t too sweet. I live in northern Spain and it’s a staple fiesta drink.

They used to be in glass jugs and we called them hobo handles… a couple bucks got you drunk for a few days which was cheaper and lasted longer than a bottle of liquor if you were broke af…

Yeah that’s below quality I’d recommend, but there’s no issue getting a completely drinkable bottle of wine in Spain around 3€, lots to choose from at that price range too.

Recovered alcoholic here. Too much residual sugar in fortified wine like that. My last couple years of drinking were vodka and bourbon. Vodka was for breakfast. Bourbon in the evening with some beer to stay hydrated. Do not recommend. It’s a shitty way to live. I managed to hang on to my construction job just barely.
